2008 spelade Broder Daniel en legendarisk konsert på Way Out West. Ur askan reser sig fågeln, som en klingande flygel till morgonjuicen smeker dess vingar våra såriga själar. En av våra största artister, Anna Ternheim, befinner sig i skrivande stund i landet på andra sidan Havet. Hon ämnar dock ta sin kappsäck fylld med en prisbelönad låtskatt och göra en spelning senare i sommar. Med betoning på en: den enda gången ni har chans att låta Ternheim vaka er grynings första suck i år är på Way Out West. Med ett för ändamålet specialsnickrat band kan vi se fram emot hennes säregna blandning av meditativt sväng och svepande stämma i vackra orkestreringar.

Det känns extra roligt att det blir på Way Out West, det är en grym festival som inspirerar på alla plan.

11 AUG -09 For the first time ever – I will tour as an acoustic trio! When I return to Europe for a fall tour I will bring two new and great musicians – Andreas Söderström and Johan Berthling.
This will be a very intimate and very different tour from the European tour I did with my full band during spring earlier this year. We´ll be playing old and new songs and maybe some Frank Sinatra. Expect something very quiet and sometimes loud, whatever happens we´ll take your mind to a good place.

Just want to grab the opportunity to say thanks for the year that has passed, and wish you all a Merry Christmas!
I'm sitting right now putting the first pieces in place for a new record, it will take some time, but not an eternity... This winter, I'll be spending a lot of time in Gothenburg - if you are in the hoods, drop by Stadsteatern.
I will be writing the music for a new play called Storstadsljus (Big City Lights), which will have it's premiere on March the 14:th. There will be more gigs as well, but mostly in the US, as I'll be releasing my album there in the spring. Watch this space - the site will be updated regularly, and perhaps, for once, I might add a few pictures as well :-)
I really hope we'll see each other soon again, here above is a little Christmas present meanwhile!

07 MAR -07 Anna Ternheims second record, Separation Road, was released last autumn. It was warmly received and was honoured with Grammy awards, the Swedish P3 Guld award, good reviews and album were sold gold status.
The record was followed by a tour in Sweden, and the album was developed into a magnificent concert that stroke out new paths. During the tour, the idea to do Lovers Dream as a duet was born and Anna introduced the idea to the audience of a few concerts. At the same time, Anna listen to The Guillemots and the singer Fyfe Dangerfield made a good impression on her. Contact was established, Fyfe listened to Separation Road and was interested in a cooperation.
In January Anna Ternheim and the producer Andreas Dahlbäck went to the traditional Air Studios in northern London to record Fyfe’s parts. Air was build by George Martin, and the list of guests who worked in the studio is a veritable of ”who’s who” in modern rock and popmusic. The technician Adam Noble, who was in charge of the recording, works with musicians as U2, Paul McCartney among others.
The result gave substance to Lovers Dream, the clear voice of Anna and Fyfes floating voice come together in a feathery, dark film-noir production. A version that takes the song to a quite different place than the original on Separation Road.
The new version of Lovers Dream will be released 11 April in Scandinavia, a 5-songs EP called ”Lovers Dream and more music for psychotic lovers”. This song together with additional four new songs, presented in an exclusive cover. The duet will be available digital in the middle of March.
Premiére for the song will be on the Swedish radiostation P3 Populär 7 March, and on Swedish TV in Stina Dabrowskis new talkshow ”STINA!” where Anna and her band together with Fyfe will appear 24 March 20:00 pm.
The album Separation Road was released in Europe 19 February. In Germany, it was given an extremely positive reception:

19 FEB -07 Finally my new record will be out in most of Europe! I´ve worked pretty hard in Scandinavia during autumn and winter and people seem to have enjoyed "Separation Road" and the numerous shows we have carried out...
19 February is the official street date of the album for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Italy and Spain. France will follow later on, likely during April. Luckily, this time around the album will also be released in the UK, which is very exciting! In June, that will happen.
Of course I will go on the road with my band. It would be an understatement so say I'm looking forward to it - Hope you will show up for one of my gigs!
We will start off with a run of twelve shows, already commencing on March 9th. I will visit Germany, Austria and Switzerland together with my band. In Holland I will perform on my own. I will do shows in France and the UK as well, but those dates simply aren't announced just yet.
